What to expect.
A running club in Toronto is usually a fixed day, a fixed time and a fixed meeting spot, and everyone runs from there. Most are free, most run on weekday evenings or weekend mornings, and most split into pace groups once they start moving, so you are rarely the slowest or the fastest.
The listings below carry the day and time the club itself publishes. Check the club's own page on the day for the week's route or a weather call, then turn up five minutes early.

Questions people actually ask.
Do I need to be fast?
No. Most run clubs post a few pace groups and a no-drop rule, which means nobody is left behind. If a club is pace-specific, its listing or its own page says so.
What do I bring to a first run?
Shoes you have already run in, a layer for the way home, and water if the club does not finish somewhere that sells it. Many end at a café or brewery, so a card helps.
Are run clubs free?
Nearly all of them. The ones that charge, usually a coached session or a track booking, say so in the cost column.
Every listing links straight to the club. Know a running club in Toronto we don’t? Add it.
