What to expect.
Board game clubs in Vancouver are open evenings at a café, pub or community room where you sit down at a table and play. Most have a library of games on a shelf and a few regulars who like teaching, so you do not need to bring anything or know anything.
Most run weekly on a fixed night. Cafés charge a table fee or expect a drink; community rooms are usually free.
