What to expect.
Drawing groups in New York are mostly life drawing sessions and sketch meetups on a fixed day. Life drawing has a model and a fee that pays for them, usually ten to twenty dollars; sketch meetups wander a neighbourhood or sit in a café and are free.
Bring a sketchbook and something to draw with. Nobody comments on your work unless you ask.
